園丁播種嘔心培，

Gardeners spare no effort to sow seeds

甘為華夏育棟材。

Willing to cultivate pillars of society for Cathay

粉筆描繪宏偉夢，

Depicting the magnificent dream in chalk

春蠶絲盡蠟成灰。

Silkworms spit out all silk and candles burn to ashes

2·

秉燭秋冬歲月催，

By candlelight they work hard year after year

春風化雨育新材。

Spring breezes blow rain to nourish new seedlings

愛生勤教藍圖繪，

Teachers diligently instruct pupils to draw a blueprint

一片丹心李桃栽。

Planting peaches and plums with a heart of pure loyalty

3·

不圖功名利國華，

Not caring for fame and fortune but for the country’s talents

精心護幼育新芽。

Teachers protect kids carefully like cultivating new buds

霜添兩鬢終無悔，

They’re not regretful even if their hair is greying at the sides

落葉成泥更護花。

More beneficial to flowers when fallen leaves turn into mud
