1） “分享到朋友圈”是“share on Moments“。moment有“片刻，瞬間，時刻”的意思。

for a moment 片刻，一會兒；暫時

for the moment 暫時，暫且；目前

2） Moments和微信朋友圈的關係

為什麼微信朋友圈的英文是Moments？

“朋友圈”這個功能並不是微信的首創，國外早就有類似於Path的Moments這樣的形式出現。所以微信應該是引入國外社交APP的表達，將其翻譯成“朋友圈”。當然，並不否認微信對其進行了微創新哦。

其次，在moment的詞義上分析，我們經常會聽到類似”share your moments“、“it‘s my moment”的表達。而微信朋友圈就是檢視和分享朋友生活當中的“片刻”和“瞬間”（share your moments）。所以“朋友圈”用“moment”也是挺貼切合理的。

3） friend（s） circle

為什麼“朋友圈”不可以是“friend(s) circle”？

在俚語裡，friend（s） circle 是指一個或一群男性是某個特定女性的好朋友或最好的朋友，並且這個女性對這些男性幾乎沒有或完全沒有xing（性）興趣。而被歸到friend（s） circle的這些男性對這個女性會有比較高的和她發生xing（性）關係的意願。

女性可能會說這些來表明你在她的“friend（s） circle”中：

”You‘re like a brother to me。“（“你就像我的兄弟。”）

”I know I can always count on you to listen。“ （“我知道我總能指望你傾聽。”）

”Can we still be friends？“ （“我們還能成為朋友嗎？”）

”You’re like the gay friend every girl wants“ （“你就像每個女孩都想要的同性戀朋友”）

”I have no sexual interest in you， what-so-ever。“ （“我對你沒有任何性興趣，無論如何。”）

4）a circle of friends

那我們所說的“朋友圈”英語怎麼表達呢？

我們用“a circle of friends”，“一群朋友”。“a circle of”是 “一圈。。。”的意思，它是表示一群或集體概念的量詞。

① a big circle of 一個大圓圈 ； 一個大圈子 ； 一大圈

② a large circle of 許多的

③ a large circle of friends 很大的朋友圈 ； 交際很廣

④ a narrow circle of friends 交際不廣

⑤ a circle of good friends 朋友圈子 ； 好朋友圈子

⑥ Maintain a circle of friends and support。

維持朋友圈和給予支援。

⑦ She has a circle of friends and she participates in activities at her kids‘ school。

她現在有自己的朋友圈，參加孩子學校的各種活動。
